The Ritz-Carlton in Powerscourt, Enniskerry Co Wicklow is this year’s conference venue. Located south of Dublin, the county named “The Garden of Ireland” is located on the east coast of the country.
The Village of Enniskerry is the location of Powerscourt (the estate the Ritz-Carlton hotel is located on). Enniskerry village is a picturesque location nestled in the heart of Wicklow.
Coach Transfer from Dublin –Tuesday 12th April
A coach shuttle service will operate on Tuesday 12th April. If you arrive ad Dublin Airport at Terminal 1 or 2, please make your way to the Coach car park – zone 14. You will see a coach with the Wiring the Brain logo at the door.

If you wish to make your own arrangements on the 12th of April – these are at your own expenses. Taxi services are available at the arrivals hall at a cost of €60 – 70 to Enniskerry.
Delegates will be asked to sign up for the Coach service on the 16th April to Dublin airport on registering at the event.

Train/DART |
DART (Dublin Area Rapid Transit) is the suburban rail line running along the east coast of Dublin, from Malahide and Howth southwards as far as Greystones, Co Wicklow. You can connect to the regular train service for communities north of Dublin, right up to Belfast. |

Taxis from the airport to the conference venue are readily available outside the arrivals hall at Dublin Airport. Ensure to only travel in a registered taxi- they will have their taxi license displayed on the dashboard. |

Insurance |
All conference attendees are advised to arrange private travel insurance. The conference organisers and committee accept no liability for personal accidents or damage to property while in attendance at the conference. The Organising Committee of Wiring the Brain 2011 reserves the right to amend and alter the conference programme and events without prior notice and accepts no liability as a result of such actions. |
Shopping |
General opening hours are Monday-Saturday from 10.00-18.00 with later opening hours on Thursday evenings. Some shops may open on Sunday from 13.00 to 18.00. |
Smoking |
Ireland has introduced a ban on smoking. Smoking is prohibited in public areas within Ireland including all bars, nightclubs and restaurants. If required you should enquire whether your accommodation bedroom is a smoking room if required. Please use the smoking areas designated outside venues. |
